This exclusive 5-star residence offers a solar-heated swimming pool and a wooden deck with views of the Franschhoek Mountains. Each of the air-conditioned rooms has an iPod Docking Station.

Free Wi-Fi and a satellite LCD TV with DVD player are available in each of Last Word Franschhoek’s accommodations. A work desk and luxurious bathroom are also standard in each.

A buffet breakfast is served on the covered veranda that overlooks the pool. Various award-winning restaurants are situated within a 5-minute walk from Franschhoek Last Word.

After a refreshing swim, guest can order a cool drink at the bar or doze off on a sun lounger. Spa treatments and picnic baskets are available upon request for a lazy afternoon.

The hotel provides free, secured parking and an airport shuttle to Cape Town International Airport, a 45-minute drive away. Stellenbosch is a 20-minute drive from the property.

Travel information

Directions from Cape Town International Airport to The Last Word Franschhoek:

- If you are travelling on the N2 continue straight to Somerset West.
- From there you take the R44 which will lead you straight into Stellenbosch.
- Once in Stellenbosch take the R310.
- Continue on the R310 to Franschhoek traveling over the Hels Hoogte pass and through the small town of Pniel.
- At the T-junction turn right on to the R45 to Franschhoek (this road will lead you directly into the town).
- The Last Word Franschhoek is on the right hand side opposite the BICCCS in the main road.
